COVID-19 Screening, Tracing, and Communication Resources

Thank you for your role in the university's plan to promote the health and safety of our Husker community during this pandemic. These three resources have been developed to help you navigate screening, testing, contact tracing, frequently asked questions, and communications about COVID-19. Please share them with leaders and supervisors in your area.

Screening Guide

Outlines different scenarios and recommends guidance on whether employees and students should go to work/class, self-isolate, or reach out to a medical provider for care.

Response Guide

Provides guidance on how to have conversations with faculty, staff and students who provide notification of COVID-19 symptoms, exposure, or a lab-confirmed diagnosis, including template messages that may be used in responding to the different types of notifications that could occur. Supervisors, instructors, and student support staff play a critical role in notifying the UNL Public Health Advocacy Team of positive COVID-19 cases, which helps inform contact tracing.
