Tuesday, April 20 | 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. | NU Coliseum
In support of our efforts to protect our UNL community against the threat of COVID-19, the Lincoln Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) will be hosting a vaccination clinic at the Coliseum, 1350 Vine Street, on Tuesday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Free parking will be provided in the lots directly east of Memorial Stadium, with overflow parking in the parking garage at 14th St. and Avery Ave.Register for April 20 Clinic
The clinic is open to all UNL students, faculty and staff who have not yet been vaccinated. Use this link to register for Tuesday’s clinic and you will then receive an email from LLCHD with an invitation to sign up for an appointment. Those students age 18 or younger who register will receive instructions from LLCHD on how to provide the necessary parental authorization and an invitation to sign up for an appointment.
The Tuesday clinic will also be open for walk-in appointments for anyone age 19 or older with a valid NCard.
The clinic will utilize the Pfizer vaccine, which requires a second dose to be administered approximately 21 days after the first dose. An on-campus vaccine clinic to provide the second dose will be held the week of May 10. If you need to extend on-campus housing accommodations in order to receive your second dose, please reach out to COVID19@unl.edu and we will work with you to extend your housing at no cost to you.
The April 20 clinic is also open to other institutions of higher education in Lancaster County.
We will need volunteers to help staff this clinic on Tuesday. If you are able to support this effort, please email Julie Kroese for more information.
In addition, during Tuesday’s clinic, free food and refreshments will be provided on the East Stadium Plaza to any student with a COVID-19 vaccination card and valid NUID.
Being vaccinated against COVID-19 is the single most important step any of us can take to protect ourselves and our UNL community. The more people within our UNL community who are vaccinated, the more quickly we can return to more pre-pandemic opportunities on our campus.
